Twenty Facts About Me
So, this is my first entry, really. I got tagged by Mel to write 20 facts about myself, and seeing as I don't have much to do tonight...
1. I have lived in 3 states, one American non-state, and 6 cities (Niagara Falls, NY; Washington, DC; Brussels, Belgium; Rockville, Maryland; Beijing, China; Arlington, VA; New York, NY)
2. Both of my parents are only children, so I have no aunts, uncles, or first cousins.
3. My favorite cookies are Girl Scout Tagalogs.
4. I have been featured on three TV shows, in two magazines, and in a pantyhose ad.
5. I have visited more countries than states (20) and provinces (2) combined.
6. If I were a boy, my name would be Bruce.
7. I am going to be the third generation of lawyers in my family.
8. The first concert I ever saw was R.E.M. in 1995 on their Monster tour with Radiohead as an opening act.
9. My great grandmother invented the detachable sweatshirt hood.
10. My dad is my favorite person in the world.
11. I think everyone looks better in glasses.
12. I can speak a lot or a little English, Hebrew, French, Latin, Chinese, German, and ASL.
13. It is my ambition to visit every continent—except maybe not Antarctica.
14. I saw a five second commercial for Dracula as a small child and slept with the cover pulled up over my neck for years afterward.
15. I watched professional wrestling religiously from ages six to twelve.
16. I share my birthday with Wilt Chamberlain. Bono was married on the day I was born.
17. The saddest movie I have ever seen is Ponette.
18. My first words were, “Come here, Tootsie!” I always heard my mom calling my dog, and apparently, it stuck.
19. The name of the first boy I ever kissed was Andrew. We were 12.
20. I attended 5 years of Hebrew school, 8 years of Catholic school, 4 years of Methodist school, and I am finally attending a secular school for the next three years.
